When do you need a mixing pump set?

When the house still has radiators or other emitters that need a high water temperature. The mixing pump blends the water down to the low temperature underfloor heating needs. If you only heat with low-temperature underfloor heating, for example with a heat pump, you usually don't need one.

Stainless steel, composite or steel: which manifold suits you?
  • Stainless steel: longest service life and most robust. Can be fitted with a pump set: on your boiler now, ready for a heat pump later.
  • Composite: slightly better for cooling, as composite insulates more and limits condensation.
  • Compact steel: steel VTE slim manifolds with pump, compact mixing manifold for standard heating systems.
